• Dec 9, 2019 - The Saskatoon Internet Exchange (YXEIX) announces the addition of a third location in northern downtown. This will provide additional options for peers to connected. All nodes are connected at 40Gbps. Press Release

• Oct 23, 2019 - The Saskatoon Internet Exchange (YXEIX) announces the addition of a second location at Scotia Centre, in the heart of downtown Saskatoon. The addition of the second location allows organizations located downtown and in the west areas of the city to connect to the exchange more easily. Press Release

• Sep 10, 2019 - YXEIX becomes a MANRS Member. Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS) is a global initiative, supported by the Internet Society, that provides crucial fixes to reduce the most common routing threats. MANRS

• Aug 8, 2019 - YXEIX launches new Route Servers and AS Number to support BGP Communities and fully featured route filtering protection. BGP Communities

• Jan 23, 2017 - Saskatoon Internet Exchange Inc. is incorporated Federally under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (NFP Act), with initial directors Cole Thompson, Ian Perry, Jason Dunk, Robert Kinloch and Rock Chantigny.
  We will operate as YXEIX and Saskatoon Internet Exchange.
